Bandit MotorSports does provide warranty terms on top of the warrantees offered by these manufacturers on their products. The purpose of our warranty is to cover what the manufacturer may not. It is the sole descretion of Bandit MotorSports to provide warranty coverage where the manufacturer may not.
Bandit MotorSports Limited Warranty:
Bandit MotorSports warrants its On-Road products (Scooters and Cycles) against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12-months or 5,000 mi (whichever comes first) and its Off-Road products (ATVs, UTVs, Go-karts and Dirt Bikes) against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6-months from the date of delivery, subject only to the following conditions and exclusions:
This limited warranty is for the replacement or repair, at the option of Bandit MotorSports, of defective parts only and does not cover any labor charges including but not limited to, charges incurred for installation of replacement parts. All warranty replacement parts are covered from the date of receipt of the product and not from the date of replacement. All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the original purchaser.
Engine and Transmission: On-Road vehicles are warranted for 12 months and Off-Road vehicles are warranted for 6 months This includes parts attached to the engine and transmission (such as carburetor and starter motor) but not those items �connected� to the engine or transmission (such as the radiator). This does not include items that are considered wear parts such as piston rings, bearings, V-belts and chains.
Electronics: are warranted for 12 months for On-Road vehicles and 6 months for Off-Road vehicles. This includes the main parts of the electrical system to include the Magneto Stator, CDI, Coil and Wire, and Voltage Regulator. This does not include items that are considered wear parts such as spark plugs, switches and bulbs, or the main electrical harness.
Structural Frame Components: including frame, shocks, swing arm, and frame welds are warranted for 6-months for both On-Road and Off-Road vehicles.
Cosmetic coverings: including the plastic body panels, seat, steering covers, tires and wheels, etc, are warranted for 90 days for all vehicle types at the sole discretion of Bandit MotorSports.
Battery and Electronic Switches:> are warranted for 30 days from the date of delivery.
Warranty Exclusions: Parts not covered by this limited warranty include:
A. Damages to plastic body components, seat upholstery, or paint damage.
B. Any common wear parts such as brake pads, tires, chains.
C. Any damage caused from negligent riding practices or shipping damages.
D. Any damages caused by battery leakage.
Warranty Transfers: This limited warranty is applicable only to the customer as an original purchaser of the product from Bandit MotorSports and shall not apply to any subsequent purchaser, assignee or other recipient of the vehicle from customer. No dealer or other similar person has any authority to make any warranties or representations concerning Bandit MotorSports or it�s products, or to extend this warranty beyond the express terms contained within. Dealer assumes no responsibility for any warranties beyond the express terms contained in the Limited warranty. Customer releases and holds dealer harmless from any claims stemming from any unauthorized representations.
Voiding this Warranty: This warranty shall be void if the Customer modifies the product in any respect including but not limited to the use of parts other than those provided by Bandit MotorSports. The annual maintenance schedule, as well as proper maintenance and storage procedures, must be followed.
This limited warranty does not apply to any injury, loss, defect or malfunction of the product or failure to function resulting from any failure to operate or maintain product in accordance with the directions contained in the owners manual provided by Bandit MotorSports or any injury, loss, damage, defect or malfunction, or failure to function resulting from any accident, acts of God, alterations in the product by anyone other than the distributor, or misuse, unreasonable use, tampering, abuse, acts, omissions, failure or negligence by anyone other than manufacturer.
These warranties set forth herein are in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied, including the warranties of merchantability or fitness. Any such implied warranty imposed by state consumer law is limited in duration to 90 Days from date of purchase.
This warranty is offered exclusively by Bandit MotorSports and NOT the manufacturer. The manufacturers warranty may provide more or less coverage than this one provided by Bandit MotorSports and will be utilized first in every case. To present a claim, customer shall deliver the defective part for exchange to the Bandit MotorSports dealer location at his or her own expense.
