Terms: |
A
Rental Agreement and Waiver of Liability between
Bandit MotorSports, Inc and renter(s) is required.
There are no refunds due to inclement weather or the
early return of the rental(s).
Legal guardians must sign for all riders under 18
years of age.
Safety helmet and goggles will be provided for all
assigned riders.
A full tank of gas will be provided for each vehicle
as well as a gas can and tie down straps.
A Rider safety and ATV orientation will be provided
to all assigned riders. |

Deposits: |
|
Are
required on each vehicle and the amount is $300 per
vehicle with a 150cc engine size or smaller and $500
per vehicle with 250cc engine size or larger. |
|
Renter(s): |
|
Will be at least 25 years old, have a valid driver
license and possess a credit card for the deposit. |
|
Rider(s): |
|
No
rider will operate a rental vehicle while under the
influence of alcohol or other mind altering
substances. Federal law does not allow riders 6 years or younger
to operate vehicles on public lands. |
|
ATV-110 |
Min operator age is 12 years. Parental supervision
is required. |
|
ATV-150 |
Min operator age is 16 years. Parental supervision
is required. |
|
ATV-250 |
Min operator age is 18 years. |
|
ATV-350 |
Min operator age is
25 years and a valid drivers license. |
|
ATV-450 |
Min operator age is
25 years and a valid drivers license. |
|
UTV-300 |
Min operator age is
25 years and a valid drivers license. |
|
UTV-500 |
Min operator age is
25 years and a valid drivers license. |
|
UTV-700 |
Min operator age is
25 years and a valid drivers license. |

Buggy-150 |
Min operator age is 18 years
and a valid drivers license. |

Buggy-250 |

Damages: |
|
Renter is responsible for any and all damages caused
by the renter up to the value of the rental
vehicle. If the rental vehicle is totaled, the
rental company maintains possession of the vehicle. |
|
Penaltys: |
|
Late Return Fee |
$15
per vehicle every 15 minutes over due – no
exceptions. |
|
Roll-over or Tip-over
|
Minimum $25 charge per vehicle. |
|
Rescue Charge |
$50
per vehicle when renter is at fault. |
|
Cleaning Charge |
$25
per vehicle for excessive dirt / sand accumulation. |
|
Fuel Charge |
$5
per gallon when fuel tanks are not returned full. |
|
Reservations: |
|
Advance reservations may be made by phone only and
are recommended during peak season. We accept Visa,
MasterCard and Discover for rental vehicle deposits
and rentals. We cannot accept debit cards for
rental vehicle deposits. We do not accept
checks but we do accept cash. |
|
Cancellations: |
|
All
reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours in
advance by phone or in person. All
reservations failing to cancel before the minimum 24
hour period, or to show up at all, will have charged
to their credit card the minimum rental amount due
for each rental vehicle they had reserved. |
|
Oregon State Regulations: |
All riders without a driver’s license must be
accompanied by a licensed driver.
All licensed drivers must have their license on
them while riding on the dunes.
All renters must wear a helmet.
All ATV's must have a flag. If you break your
flag, don't leave it behind. Carry it with you
for safety.
All alcohol is banned on the dunes owned by BLM
and the Forestry Service and riders
can be fined $5,000 or more.
The beaches are open to all vehicles but some
areas are marked no access. |

Recommendations for an Enjoyable Ride: |
Bring sunglasses and suntan lotion.
The glare off of the sand can make it difficult
to judge depth of field.
Bring your cell phone as most cell phones
receive signal on the dunes.
For rides lasting 2 hours or more we suggest
that you bring a small backpack, packed with
bottled water and snacks.
Bring your camera as there are some great
photo opportunities.
Bring a light jacket or sweat shirt in case
of a cold wind off the ocean.
Wear pants, socks and shoes and bring a pair
of gloves just in case your hands get cold.
If planning to ride during the rainy season,
bring a rain suit.
We provide helmets and goggles at no
additional charge. |
